Hello everyone!! My name is Sherwood Jernigan and I am from Smithfield, NC. I have been metal detecting for about 4 1/2 years. In the GNRS I will be using 2 DFXs.
I love to detect for coins or old relics of any kind. The best find so far is the Block I Button or the Musket Lock Plates with the hammer and springs still attached. The best bullet find was the 23 I found in one hole this past August, 2008.
I also have a 14 year old son that can detect as good as I can. I also have a 20 year old son and a lovely wife that watches and puts up with all of this.
